My favourite unit in 40k is a chaos dreadnought with twin-linked autocannons. He's been my favourite since 2nd edition when the powerscourge still existed.

Last club night was his proudest moment. Managing to go into bloodrage on every single game turn, kill a bunch of stuff and survive the battle unscathed!

I think a shooty chaos dread is the most entertaining 40k unit. Any other contenders?

My dreadnaughts hate me, I've never seen so many 1's and 2's to hit my twin linked lascannons.

They're pretty bloody good at failing to penetrate anything they do manage to hit as well.

i can vouch for slebys lascannon dreads, i dont think they did anything in the entire game we had. Misses constantly and when it does hit consistently fails to beat armour 12

That Dreadnought seems to be a god among other, slightly less powerful gods (unless you are facing me and he kills more of your guys then I do Razz)

Also, another one that enjoys surviving every turn against all odds would be my Biker Squad Nob Leader! Very Happy Say Hi to your demons for me. Twisted Evil

I remember( or don't Razz) me being slightly hungover for that game and being my oh, so stupid self forgot dreads could sweep Very Happy

But that's ok, I do remember my Warboss killing scores of marines and it taking not one but TWO dreads to bring him down Razz
