2.5 years after comming off the push bike I can honestly say that push bikes are evil.
(As some of the fantasy players found out after the nationals in christchurch 2 years ago).
After doing a lot of moaning to the drs, over the last year, about fun things like spasms in the arms legs and back, and the arm popping on me for doing nothjing more than picking up a cup of coffee they have:
A) said they may have missed other injuries that I have sustained from comming off the push bike due to the fact that what I was telling them also related to the arm injuries
B) suspect that I may have a spinal injury that was sustained from comming off the push bike
as a result i have to
get a lot more x-rays and a mri scan in the next 2-3 weeks (im not looking foward to being placed in a giant magnet with the amount of metal ware in me and a wee file note Ive had 1 already and it took 4 weeks for the arm to settle down)
and then go and see the specialist again to find out what they are going to do
To make matters worse the nationals are in about 3 weeks
Posative things im going to do is take along some general anaesetic that is of amber and fluid form to the nationals with me (joys of it being in Wellie)
So any other posatives I could do as it will be a bit hard to change the negatives (appart from me not turning up)
Ideas please |
